With the weather heating up, staying hydrated is very important.
Here are 3 short & sweet tips help you drink more water:
1. Add some flavor or even fizz. Squeeze a little lime or lemon juice and mix the water up. Try flavor enhancers. My favorite flavor enhancers are from Arbonne. I like that they actually fizz when you add them to the water. The carbonation in sodas is something I missed about drinking Dr. Pepper and now I don’t miss it as much!
2. Make the water cold. Water can be so refreshing when cold so stock your refrigerator. Or buy an ice cube trays specifically for water bottles.
3. Infuse your water with fruit. Delicious! We went to a Cinco de Mayo party several years ago when I was first introduced to water infused with fruit. YUM! It was watermelon and I still remember how delicious it was. It does add calories and sugar to your diet so that is something to consider. There are pitchers that have a center portion where the fruit goes, then fill the pitcher up with water, wait a little while for the fruit juices to seep through the mixture, and viola! I’m pretty sure in one day I could drink my daily recommended water using fruit infused water. Mmmmm!
