Ylang Ylang Oil
Ylang ylang is made from the flowers of the Cananga odorata tree in Indonesian. Ylang-ylang oil is excellent for calming the nervous system and helping you to feel peaceful. As with any essential oil, you should dilute with water (or a carrier oil like coconut oil) before applying to the skin. If you prefer, simply inhale the scent to feel relaxed and uplifted.
CBD oil, or cannabidiol, is made from chemicals naturally found in marijuana plants. Regardless, CBD oil does not create the intoxicated or high effect associated with marijuana. The chemical THC, which is also found in marijuana, is responsible for such effects. CBD effects include easing stress, anxiety and pain relief. Studies continue to research and praise the benefits of using CBD oil to treat conditions such as arthritis. Unlike some other types of oil, CBD can be ingested using a tincture. It’s also available in capsule form.
Rose oil has a beautiful scent and is a fantastic aid to relaxation. One study referenced on Healthline indicates that rose oil can relieve the symptoms of anxiety. Rose oil helps to lower breathing and heart rates plus decrease levels of cortisol (the stress hormone). As well as this, rose oil is known to have antibacterial and antifungal properties. With a few drops of rose oil in your bath, you’ll be unwinding in no time at all.
