Remember the unboxing video I did a week or so ago for LetsGetChecked.com?
Well, get ready to see how I collected my blood sample… It really wasn’t bad! I used to be squeemish around needles until I had three kids and all those weeks of blood being drawn throughout my pregnancies. The blood sample just required a finger prick and collection in a little vial. Here’s a hint though, be sure to lay the back of your hand on a hard surface before you try poking your finger with the lancet. I keep moving my hand just as I was about to do this and wasn’t getting a good stick until my 3rd try and realized I needed to put my hand on a hard surface.

Here’s the second part of the video with packing up the sample, hints, and reminders that I learned collecting my blood sample for the first time…

I think they have better video editing software and someone that knows what they are doing in making a cool video. Be sure to watch this before collecting a blood sample.
Hints & Reminders –
Don’t forget to fill out the inside flap of the return box after collecting a blood sample. I did and had to open the return bag, the box, fill it out, repackage it, and retape it back up! OOPS! AND be sure to leave your finger on a hard surface to be able to get a stick. I had to poke my fingers 3 times! OOPS AGAIN!
