This year we’ll be doing some super fun decorating for Halloween. Little by little each room will be spookified. Last week, the entryway got gussied up. It was a bit boring…
Green cat sums it up! Borriinngg!
Only 3 items were needed for this project – garland, black poster board, and white poster board. It was about $3 total for all of it. This is some more garland that was used on the front door Halloween wreath project.
This was super easy to decorate with. I just wrapped the garland around the frame and tucked it behind it at the corners to hold it on. Next I took the black poster board and held it up to the mirror and sketched out a silhouette of a tree. I cut that out and taped it onto the mirror. I used a bat from the garland and outlined it a bunch of times on the poster board and cut those out. The moon was made by tracing a bowl for the circle, cutting it out, and then taping it to the mirror. Last, the bats were added in a random pattern. And here’s how it turned out!
Now the entryway is officially SPOOOOOKKKKYYYYY!!!
