If you know me, you know I have a mild obsession with fabric. I am a tactile person so it stands to reason. I’m also an artist(IG) so fabric designs are my jam. That’s why I was so happy that FabricGuru.com offered my amazing readers this handy tip sheet for cleaning outdoor fabric…
This is one of the most comprehensive cleaning outdoor fabric graphics I’ve seen in a long time! I really don’t see how I can add to this information except to take you on a tour of their wonderful selection of fabrics.
Watchout – here comes my obsession! LOL
You need it; they’ve got it! After just finishing up my daughter’s room, I’m just about to start working on revamping my master bedroom. I’ve carried the same fabrics that I was going to use 3 moves ago for the duvet and curtains but want to coordinate the throw pillows and maybe even a sitting chair. The colors are a sweet soft yellow, white sheers with blingy patterns in sequence, and a rosette gathers medium gray color for the duvet. It can be a challenge to find matching fabrics especially since I purchased these 5 years ago and trends change. But my love for these fabrics has not.
Here is a perfect options for the throw pillows. It is a drapery fabric but my kids pile onto our bed all of the time. I am needing durable fabrics that can stand the test of time. Since I’ve been waiting for 5 years to make this happen, I want to make sure to have fabric that can hold up under pressure! This is the “Robert Allen Dwell Studio Helene Floral Printed Cotton Drapery Fabric in French Grey” Sophisticated with a hint of whimsy, perfect in my book!
Now for a potentially upholstered chair… I want upholstery fabric that will pop but not keep me up at night while I’m sleeping. LOL If I have sitting furniture in a bedroom, I want it to be comfy but also not just blend in with the room. It will be my reading nook and a place to relax. It will be an oasis at the end of a day. It will be a luxury in my otherwise couponing world. LOL Something like this silk fabric with sweet, kind little flowers… Robert Allen Beacon Hill Rose Queen Embroidered Silk Decorator Fabric in Yellow Lotus I’m starting to see a pattern here(ha! no pun intended); looks like the designer Robert Allen fabrics are my fav so far.
It’s super easy to search for the fabric you are after. On the top menu bar, click on the type of fabric you are interested in. Then if you have a certain color you are interested in (or more than one color), type this in the search box and enter. Voila! That’s how I found the two above fabrics.
I can’t wait to get started on my master bedroom. It will probably be next spring as the next room to tackle will be our living room. Everything is picked out, just buying a little something each paycheck. 🙂 Rome wasn’t built in a day and updating our foreclosure home won’t happen overnight either. Just glad that FabricGuru will be a good source to help make our house into our home!
