A couple months ago my sister’s neighbor gave me a bow holder. My daughter doesn’t wear bows very often so I never realized how many were in the bow bucket. She has A LOT of bows and that little frame didn’t have enough room for a fraction of them. So I decided to make a giant bow holder like the one my sister’s friend gave us.
To make a supersized version of the bow holder is easy!
Step 1: Cut ribbons to length
First, I cut the ribbons about an inch or two wider than the inside of the frame. For each ribbon used, I rolled the end a little like this…
Step 2: Attach the ribbons to the frame
Next, using the staple gun I adhered the ribbon to one side. Then pulling the ribbon tight, attached it it to the other side.
Now just continue to add strips of ribbon until there’s no more room. Be sure include space on either side of the ribbon to be able to add bows… Tah dah!
Here is the new bow holder in the bathroom and ready to use before bows… (and next to the little bow holder frame)
Now here it is with the bows on it… Can you see why we needed a bigger one? LOL
