I love how you said that foot orthotics can help to reduce pain from achilles tendonitis. My husband has bad tendonitis in his achilles. I will suggest that he incest in custom orthotics to decrease that pain.
Zoe Campos says
I’m glad that you talked about those people who suffer from all kinds of pain in their feet. My mother is one of them, and she started suffering from foot ache after getting involved in a car accident. It might be a good idea to consult a specialist and see if wearing orthotics can help her condition.
Rinella Prosthetics & Orthotics says
Extremely informative. I wanted to thank you for this excellent post. I surely enjoyed each little bit of it and I have you bookmarked to check out more new stuff

Thanks so much for stopping by SimpleStepsForLivingLife. 🙂

Thank you for highlighting the fact that orthotic insoles can help people who suffer from heel pain. My son has terrible heel pain when he walks, so I’m considering taking him to a children’s podiatrist to get orthotic insoles. I’m going to search for a good children’s podiatrist in the area that offers treatment with orthotic insoles.
Cindy Magee says
Glad this helped! Hope it can help your son. 🙂

My grandfather has used this and he is having flat feet with no arches and that is why he was facing so much pain in his knees then my Orthopedic suggested me this for him and now the pain has decreased so much.

Thanks for sharing, I didn’t know orthotic insoles could be so helpful. I didn’t know how effective they could be. I suffer from plantar fasciitis as well, so I might need to look into getting some of my own. Thanks again.
Joy Butler says
I never knew that orthotic insoles nullify the effect of flat feet. My brother’s feet are like that, flat and wide. And yes, it is true that people with flat feet suffer from severe pain across the heels and other parts of their feet.
Orthofeet says
Definitely spot on about orthotic insoles. They can help with a number of foot problems . Here’s a more in-depth look at how they can help with plantar fasciitis, ( but as this blog stated, orthotics are a very important to alleviating a variety of different types of foot pain).:

I’m starting to get plantar fasciitis! Not too comfy and I’ve been meaning to get insoles asap!
Kyle Wayne says
I never knew that the use of orthotic insoles can actually help cure pain in the backbone! My wife is looking to get some orthotics done since she’s had some discomfort in her back. I’ll be sure to talk to her about finding a reliable professional and consider using orthotic insoles.

great article
one question i have…do chiropractors help get rid of hip pain by spinal correction?
Many Thanks
Cindy Magee says
I am not sure as this was a guest post. That’s best answered by the professionals but I would think a chiropractor could help or maybe at least determine where the pain is coming from.
Larry Weaver says
I did not realize that orthotics is highly effective in bringing relief to feet that deal with plantar fasciitis. My son has been saying that his feet have been hurting, so I am wondering if he has a foot condition. We will have to check to see if orthotics will be able to help my son out so that he can avoid pain from his feet.
Cindy Magee says
It actually helped my husband. Hopefully, it can help your son as well.
Helen Stewart says
do you think a chiropractor is the best person to deal with leg pain? Just saying since i’ve always consulted a chiro whenever i have such issues and it worked out well
Cindy Magee says
Possibly. I had leg pain and a toe that was numb for a while and it turned out I had a severely herniated disc that had to be operated on. If you are having leg pain, consult your physician and they can help determine the best course of action. It might be alieviated by the chiro or might need something more.

I really like that you mentioned how effective orthotic insoles are in reducing the amount of pain in the feet. My son has Achilles Tendonitis, and I want to do what I can to make him more comfortable. Thanks for the information-I think inserts would be a great option for him!
Pickleball Portal says
Great post. I’ve got Achilles Tendonitis and overpronation so kind of a double whammy. For years I resisted orthotics but finally got them. Took about a month to get really used to them but now I can go without them!

Hello Cindy, I completely agreed with you. Physical therapy is the best to recover your injuries and wounds. It decreases the chances of operation and surgeries. And keeps our body joints fit and pain free. Thanks for sharing this blog.
