Did you know pressure cookers can be used for not just canning vegetables and making pickles? You can cook a meal with one, create yogurt, and more! I learned about pressure cooking from Cami at Tidbits-Cami.com
Here’s some delicious Pressure Cooker Recipes that she has created –
My youngest loves pancakes and syrup. For a couple weeks this year he was surviving on pancakes and syrup. I would cook a bunch and leave a plate full in the refrigerator so he could eat these for snacks, meals, and more. LOL
A couple weeks ago, I was at the grocery store while the produce stocker(hmm that sounds weird LOL) was weeding out the older veggies and got three big bags of bell peppers for only $1 per bag! Score! I just saw this recipe tonight and could have used it while we had 12 bell peppers to eat up! LOL I did have a pimento cheese recipe from my mom; remember this post about it?
Last night my sweet husband made our dinner. I came home from work to a meal of grilled steak, boiled crab, corn on the cob, and seasoned grill salmon. I would love to try different types of seasoned salmon and fish dishes and this one sound delicious!
Yes, you really can cook a meal with a pressure cooker! I learned from Cami’s website all about pressure cooking. I still haven’t had a chance to purchase one yet but would like to soon. I’ll use it to cook but also use Miss Reta’s famous pickle recipe. I might even try making yogurt or ricotta cheese. YUM!
