Summer is HOT HOT HOT! The sun is relentless lately and even in the shade a weight seems to sit on me. So in light of all that, here’s some tips and ideas about playtime outdoors in the sun and heat…
- Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. It is so important to monitor you little one’s fluid intake – especially when it’s so hot out! My doctor today suggested even bringing pedialyte with me to our vacation since most of it will be spent outdoors and my baby girl might not drink all the formula she needs while in the heat but will probably drink the pedialyte well.
- SUNBLOCK! Can’t have enough, can’t apply it often enough! Also keep those little ones in the shade as much as possible. Wear hats and any protective clothes that make sense in the heat but also cover as much as possible.
- Keep your eyes open and watch those babies! There’s lots of hazards indoors and out for curious little babies and toddlers. Remember to always keep your eyes on them!
- HAVE FUN!
Hope these are some handy tips as you get ready to ramp up the summertime fun! Do you have any tips you’d like to share with others? Email me at DownhillRunHelp at yahoo dot com and I’ll feature you as a guest contributor and promote your website here!
