How it is used
- Mix the ginkgo biloba with boiling water and drink the infusion twice a day.
- You can also get it in the form of a compress or extract. In the latter case, consume 120 to 240 mg per week.
2. Basil
The antibacterial properties of basil can be used to help with both pain and ringing in the ears.

How it is used
- Put enough basil in a blender and mix it until you get a paste.

Garlic is one of the natural home remedies to reduce tinnitus when caused by low temperatures or abrupt changes in altitude. In addition, it has antibiotic properties that prevent infections and facilitate the clearance of ear canals.
Components
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil (15 g)
How it is used
- Fry two minced garlic cloves in a tablespoon of sesame oil, then filter it and let it cool.
- Put 2 drops of oil in each ear and tilt your head for a few minutes to work.
- Repeat every day for a week.
5. Ginger
The medicinal properties of ginger help you fight tinnitus as it improves circulation and fights pathogens that cause infections. Its anti-inflammatory complexes reduce inflammation of the ear and soothe pain and tension.
Components
- ½ tablespoon grated ginger (5 g)
- 1 cup water (250 ml)
How it is used
- Add half a tablespoon of grated ginger to a cup of warm water and drink the infusion 2 or 3 times a day.
- Optionally, cut a slice of raw ginger and chew it for a few minutes. This exercise will control the pressure in the ear and will significantly reduce the ringing.
6. Mustard oil
The antifungal and antioxidant properties of mustard oil can be used to control tinnitus and infections. Its application helps to neutralize excess wax and creates a protective wall in the ear canal to prevent inflammation and bacterial attacks.
How it is used
- Heat some mustard oil in the microwave and then put 3 drops in the affected ear.
- Tilt your head and remove the excess wax.
