Fresh air
Use clean air and sunlight, walking on the ground barefoot, and immersion in a natural water source are a great ways to balance the body. Renew and nourish it from the best sources. Many studies have proven that patients that have access to go outside or see a healing garden from a hospital window has helped increase healing time and patients generally would need less pain medication. Make sure your accessibility to each of these elements (sun, earth, water and air) is here on a daily basis, and give these resources meaning, and a greater place, in your life.
Meditation & Prayer
Meditation balances and heals significant meanings in our lives. Strive to incorporate meditation time throughout the day. It is an important support for the nervous system, for calming the inner rhythm, and for calming the mind. This can be a 5-minute meditation, several times a day, or a half-hour meditation in the morning, or before bed. While meditating, focus on your breathing, and imagine your body releasing tension with each exhalation, and fed with new energy, with each inhalation.
Prayer is also essential for mental, physical, and emotional well-being. There have been many studies regarding meditation and prayer and how practicing these each day can literally change the brain’s neuroplasticity. Focusing our thoughts on hope, love, and positivity can make a huge difference not only throughout the day but literally the shape of our brain!
Creativity inspiration is a source of nourishment for our lives also; through which, we give expression to the inspiration we experience. Pay attention to your sources of inspiration and give them a wide place in your life. Combine creativity in everyday life – in the kitchen, at work, with the children, in the style of dress, in writing, and anything else that comes to your mind – and allow it to be a part of your work. Creativity brings joy and new discoveries.

Community life
A small community of friends allows for a kind of sharing and unique experience of living together. When there is a community of friends in our lives, we have the opportunity to support and create change in a broader and deeper way. A supportive community enables a shared growth process, bringing qualities of brotherhood and equality into our lives. If you’re on a set mission and want to find likeminded people in sober living or your faith beliefs, having that support around you can make such a difference. I also think it gives us hope and can help take away the feelings of being alone. Plus, when you share life with friends and family, you won’t be as focused internally and rehashing negativity over and over because you will be focused on other people’s needs as well.

Thankfulness
Thanksgiving is the lifeblood of the most healing quality. This is the door to the essence of life. The understanding that we are here by grace, and that we have been given a tremendous opportunity to live this life. Thankfulness is a simple and basic appreciation for life and all that exists, and is a part of our lives. Living out of gratitude, at every moment, strengthens our connection with the meaning and infinite power of love. This promotes positivity in the brain and just like meditation and pray can physically change the brain, so can thankfulness. Read this article about the neuroscience of Thankfulness; you’ll thank me for it! (Pun intended LOL)

Exercise
Moving our body and inner energy through exercise is of great significance. Often we may spend whole days sitting in front of a computer, a condition that causes stagnation in the various systems of the body. Therefore, any type of exercise is important – walking in nature or your neighborhood, swimming, yoga, running, aerobics, dancing, trampoline jumping, cycling – make it a part of your life routine. Exercise releases endorphins and can contribute to a healthier mindset and also help abolish anxiety and depression over time. It should be part of your daily routine. You could also consider pure cannabidiol oil. CBD is shown to have anti-inflammatory properties and could help you with after workout recovery especially if you are just restarting your exercise routines.
Cleansing your body
Body cleansing can be the gate that opens for us towards a healthy lifestyle by being more attentive to what we eat and drink. Take the opportunity to stop for a minute and look at all those habits and patterns that drive us most often unconsciously. When it comes to our relationship to our body and our sources of nourishment, we have the opportunity to make a difference and start living a healthy lifestyle. The change available to us now is not only about our diet, but also the possibility of re-examining our lifestyle and the various elements in our lives that create the quality and reality of our lives. Beyond a healthy lifestyle is a way of life that includes the right balance between the various elements that provide nourishment in our lives. It is a path that begins with a positive approach to life, and requires self-discipline.
It’s time to get healthy. It’s time to make this your uear!
