The problem is that it doesn’t address any underlying issues at all. You’re basically papering over the cracks and ignoring what causes your pain.
It’s a problem because loads of people will take pain medication and then wonder why they’re still in pain. There are two reasons for this: one, you might be taking the wrong medication for your specific problem. Two, you aren’t treating the underlying cause!
