Aches and pains are something that we all have to deal with from time to time. Lately, this seem to be happening more and more in my life since I hit 40. Yep, everything started creaking and aching soon after that big birthday milestone! There can be different reasons as to why and where they occur. This is not only true for physical aches and pains but also for emotional or mental pain. For your body, it’s worth considering where the aches or pains might be coming from and focusing your rest time on that area. If it’s a whole body thing, then it’s worth getting plenty of early nights when you can. It can be hard to get rest when life gets busy. Sometimes, you will need to cancel plans or just say no in order to get in that recovery time. If you’re not resting, you might make your aches and pains worse and stop your body from getting that time it needs to recover and repair itself.

There are plenty of professional care options out there to help with pains and aches that might simply be taken care of with the right treatments. I’m excited to get back in the gym and start acting Tarzan again soon now that my foot is feeling healed. Try to avoid any excessive exercise or perhaps doing something that would only make your pain or ache worse than it already is.
