If you are looking to purchase unique purses and do good, then Upcycled For Hope by De Leo Textiles is for you! Before we dive into the beautiful and durable handbags, let me tell you about my cousin and how she is helping to reduce waste in the textile industry while also helping raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the Epilepsy Foundation.
My sweet cousin has an amazing daughter that suffers from seizures. Nadia is a beautiful young woman both inside and out, but epilepsy is an ongoing, daily struggle for her. My hope is that someday there will be a miracle cure for her and anyone that deals with epilepsy. That’s why I didn’t think twice about purchasing a new handbag from Upcycle For Hope by De Leo Textiles.
I’m sooo happy with my new Addy Bag! I’m a big fan of crossbody bags and this one is just perfect. Plus, I LOVE the colors/design of the fabric. 🙂
I not only love the handbag designs available from De Leo Textiles but oooh the fabrics! My cousin’s husband’s family has been in the luxury fabric business for decades(50+ years!). De Leo Textiles designs and imports fabrics that are known for top level quality.
Did you know that textiles are the fastest growing component of landfills?
Upcycled For Hope uses would-be waste fabric to create luxury upcycled bags. This not only helps to minimize the environmental impact that their business has but also helps raise money for causes they support. Don’t you love De Leo Textiles and especially my cousin even more now?!
There are a limited amount of handbags especially with the different specific fabrics. Click on the photos below to pick out your favorite –
(My cousin was so sweet and gave me one of the Kelsie Clutch for Christmas!)
Let me know which is your favorite of these unique purses and what you purchased! I’d love to share with my cousin about how the word is getting out to help the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Epilepsy Foundation.
