Are you ready for all that summertime has to offer? I AM! This past weekend my kids and I and extended family had so much fun visiting Pirate’s Cove Putt Putt Golf in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Have ye mateys heard of such a place? There be Pirate’s Coves in Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, South Dakota, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
If there’s not one in your state, then check out a putt putt golf in your area because there is fun to be had! Near our little town is a “safari” themed course that my daughter I visited for a sooo fun birthday party! It wasn’t as decked out like the Pirate’s Cove but all the kids had lots of fun playing there too. Plus, there was an arcade and batting cages at our local place.
There were two course to chose so we chose the Captain’s Mate to get to go through the cave. Ye, heard me right… a cave! Blackbeard’s course had a pirate’s ship with one of the holes on it! Whaaat?! That’s what we are going to visit next trip!
Here’s some pictures of all the fun and scenery…
This was my favorite challenge on the course! Yep, the ball was able to fall right into the water! See that door? A couple of scary pirates are locked up in their and they’ll tell you about it if you’ll listen.
AAaaargh! It’s Blackbeard himself just waitin’ fer ye to take ye photo.
Another of multiple superbly designed water features. This one was viewed from one of many bridges.
Our crew’s smallest mate declared upon our return we would be playin’ Blackbeard’s course where there be a greens to play through on the ship…
Ok, ok! Enough silly pirate talk. This was one of the best putt putt golf courses I’ve been too. Not that I play the circuit or anything though. LOL The best part of all was being outside spending time as a family. For summertime fun, putt putt golf gets two clubs up!
