It’s never easy to plan for everything in your life. Things can easily happen unexpectedly with many people finding themselves in situations that they’d never had imagined. Of course, this doesn’t always have to be negative, and these surprises can be a very positive thing. By exploring some of the different ways that life can throw a spanner in the works, I’m hoping this article gives you a good idea of how to solve problems like this in your own life.
The first step is recognizing that you don’t have to go through it alone. There are so many resources and groups to join online and in communities that can help you. You can gain insight into how to deal with the good and bad surprises in life by learning from people that have gone through the same situations.
Here are three life changing surprises that can happen in life and turn out to be the best thing that ever happened in your life even if they are surprises you never expected to happen:

Injuries and Accidents
It can be easy to overlook something like an injury when you’re feeling healthy. Many people assume that they will be able to recover from something like this, though this can be a bad assumption to make when the world is filled with things that can cause serious problems for your body. Hurting your back, for example, could leave you paralyzed and unable to work. In this sort of situation, it’s always worth having lawyers who put your interests first behind you. Whether you’ve been in a car accident or have been attacked, you can usually get compensation that will make life much easier if the accident wasn’t your fault to help alleviate medical costs. Injuries and accidents are hard to go through but you can take control back by following medical advice to overcome the injuries. It will be a struggle the more intense your injuries but always seeking a determined attitude will be one of the best defenses in taking control of the situation.
Losing Your Job
Finding yourself out of work is something that a lot of people fear, but still don’t prepare themselves in case it ever happens. Most governments offer support for those who have lost their jobs, and this can be a useful tool when you’re struggling for money. A plus to being laid off or fired is that you could think about the idea of starting your own business. Whatever forced you out of work before won’t be able to touch you when you’re running your own venture. If you don’t have savings, losing your job will be harder than anyone wants to have to face. You could easily find yourself in a very bad position without an emergency savings account. Take control now by learning about financial freedom from Dave Ramsey. My husband and I went through the course and at one point paid off over $20,000 in credit card debt!

Having A Child
This next situation isn’t one that most people would consider negative. Of course, though, while having a child will be a lovely thing, it can also change your life in ways that you wouldn’t expect especially if your baby is a surprise! You will have less money, less time, and a whole heap of jobs that you never had to do in the past. Of course, though, having a support network behind you will make this whole thing much easier. The people around you can offer advice and support as you learn how to manage a family. This can help you take control while you have the chance to adapt to the changes you’re experiencing. Children are one of the biggest blessings in life. Being a mom I feel like being in control can easily flitter out the window with the chaos of having 3 kids but I just have to remind myself, “Wait, I’m suppose to be an adult here.” LOL Take control as a parent by using the magic formula 10 parts love to 1 part discipline. The most important thing about parenting is having lots of love and grace for you and your kids because you both will mess up through life, right?
It’s never easy to plan and manage your life – that’s part of the adventure! A lot of people find themselves struggling to find the right path when things change unexpectedly but we forget that the journey is what makes up our lives. As time goes on, the way that you deal with situations like this will have a dramatic impact on your life, and you need to be prepared to adapt to whatever life throws your way. This can not only help you to succeed but can help you to remember that life is a gift and a roller coaster ride to enjoy no matter its ups and downs!
